This year, our Henley Women’s Regatta collection features a distinctive stripe design, directly inspired by Reading University's powerful ‘Show Your Stripes’ campaign. This global initiative, held on June 21st, aims to raise awareness about our changing climate and the urgent need for action.
The ‘warming stripes,’ created by climate scientist Professor Ed Hawkins, visually represent the increase in global temperatures since the Industrial Revolution. Each stripe signifies a year, transitioning from cool blues to warm reds to vividly illustrate the undeniable warming trend over the past 150 years. By incorporating this impactful design, we hope to contribute to the global conversation and highlight this crucial message.
