Now, if the spring sunshine hasn't got you leaping outside to enjoy the elements just yet, here's someone who'll sprinkle her magic motivation dust on your day...
Anna McNuff is a British born adventurer, motivational speaker, influencer and author, and also happens to be our buddy and official Crewroom Ambassador.
She was recently named by Condé Nast Traveller as one of the 50 most influential travellers of our time, and by the Guardian as one of the top modern female adventurers. And if that's not enough, Anna is also the UK Ambassador for Girl Guiding, and the co-founder of Adventure Queens, the UK’s fastest growing women’s adventure community.
Over the last few years, Anna has challenged herself with some pretty epic adventures; she cycled across 50 USA states, ran the length of New Zealand, cycled along the spine of the Andes and ran 90 marathons across the UK (completely barefoot!)
Today we're featuring Anna's book - The Pants of Perspective - a 3,000 kilometre running adventure through the wilds of New Zealand. Anna tells us she never thought of herself as a ‘real’ runner but when she read about New Zealand’s 3,000-kilometre-long Te Araroa Trail, she began to wonder if she could just run it anyway?
The Pants of Perspective is a witty, colourful and, at times, painfully raw account of a journey to the edge of what a woman believes herself to be capable of. It is a coming-of-age story which will lead you on a roller coaster ride through fear, vulnerability, courage and failure.
So, if you need a little motivation this Monday, McNuff is your gal. Her book is available as paperback, eBook and audiobook and you can pick up a copy here...
Enjoy!
